Where do you ship?
We ship to Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. We hope to reach more places soon. If you're elsewhere, write to us at enquiry@issenkodo.jp.
How is my order sent?
By Japan Post tracked airmail. Each candle is packed and sent on its own, and you will receive a tracking link once it leaves Japan.
How much is shipping?
S$8 to Singapore, HK$45 to Hong Kong and NT$170 to Taiwan, per candle. The shipping fee is shown at checkout.
When will it arrive?
Usually 9–10 days after dispatch. Please allow up to two weeks, as customs checks can occasionally add a few days.
Will I pay duties or taxes?
Prices are shown in your local currency and do not include import charges.
Singapore: no GST or duty is charged on orders under S$400.
Hong Kong: no duty or tax.
Taiwan: you may be asked to pay a small import tax on delivery, usually around NT$100.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Ceramic can be fragile in transit. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email enquiry@issenkodo.jp within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the item and packaging, and we will make it right.
Can I return an item?
We accept returns of unopened, unused items in their original packaging within 7 days of delivery. Return postage is paid by the customer, and shipping fees are non-refundable. If a parcel is refused or goes unclaimed, we refund the item once it returns to us, less the shipping cost.
